Zinc White (or Chinese White, Silver White, Lead White): used for ceruse.

Meudon White (or Spanish White): Chalk, a filler for paints and render. It is also used in lime.

Bitumen of Judea: is mixed with turpentine and produces wood colours according to the dilution.

Casein: a paint binder and lime fixative.

Bone glue pearls: used to restore old furniture, and for marquetry.

Rabbit skin glue in grains: a binder for paint and fixative for lime, used to prepare plaster of Paris, primers for canvas and to prepare woodwork for painting, also used for gold leaf by stucco workers and gilders.

Ground pure animal skin glue: a very pure gelatine, finely ground for faster preparation.

Carnauba wax: a high-quality plant-based wax of a greenish-yellow colour, soluble in ordinary organic solvents such as ethyl alcohol, benzol, ether and trichloroethylene.

Mahogany extract: colouring for wood, paper or cardboard; of a brown-red to blackish colour, soluble in water.

Gum Arabic: thickener and fixative; binder to manufacture watercolours, gouache and pastels; to be diluted in water.

Lac: used to make varnish.

Lithopone: filler for paint manufacturing.

Marble powder: filler for stucco, paint and render.

Brick dust: filler for lime render.

Potash alum salts: used to fix lime, 1 kg per 20 kg of lime.
